Server Services
Install and Configure a Web Server
If IIS is not already installed on Windows 2000 or XP, you can install it by
going to the Control Panel, selecting Add/Remove Programs, and selecting
Add/Remove Windows Components. Here you can select IIS. Windows will ask you
for the installation CD, and will proceed to install the necessary components.
Once installed, you can use the IIS Management Console
(Start->Programs->Administrative Tools->Internet Services Manager) to create
new virtual directories and sites, or configure IIS security.
Configuring FrontPage Server Extensions
To install and configure FrontPage Server Extensions, right click a website in
the IIS Management Console, and select All Tasks->Configure Server Extensions.
